Résumé:Persecutions did not stop entirely after World War I. Post-Ottoman Turkey persevered in their project of Turkification of the territory. From there, slaughter and expulsions perpetuated against all the national and religious minorities, and the oriental Christians in particular – at least until the end of the 1920s –, nourished a flow of refugees in the direction of Syria (then under French mandate).
