It therefore contributed to the change in outlook on delinquent youth and prepared minds to accept the more educational and less repressive measures promoted by the ordinance of February 2, 1945 relating to delinquent children.En 1941, à la demande des éditions Dupuis (Le journal de Spirou), Jijé travaille sur l’une des premières biographies en bande dessinée, celle de Don Bosco, ce prête qui au xixe siècle fût à l’origine de multiples œuvres destinées aux jeunes délinquants de Turin. Redessiné en 1949 par son auteur, cet album n’a cessé d’être réédité. Il offre un regard différent sur ces adolescents déviants. Il a donc contribué au changement de regard sur la jeunesse délinquante et a préparé les esprits à accepter les mesures plus éducatives et moins répressives promues par l’ordonnance du 2 février 1945 relative à l’enfance délinquante.Cairn restricted access |
