Description
Résumé:In 1941, at the request of the Dupuis edition, Jijé worked on one of the first biographies in comics, that of Don Bosco, the priest who in the nineteenth century was at the origin of multiple works intended for young offenders in Turin. Redrawn in 1949 by its author, this album has continued to be reissued. It therefore contributed to the change in outlook on delinquent youth and prepared minds to accept the more educational and less repressive measures promoted by the ordinance of February 2, 1945 relating to delinquent children.
