Résumé:A doctor trained under Georges Heuyer, Louis Le Guillant is also a disciple of Henri Wallon; psychiatrist attached to scientific research as much as to the dissemination of knowledge, techniques and practical attempts that result from it, his institutional functions at the end of the war made him a man of synthesis in an environment in full turmoil. His particular conception of the clinic, based on scientific research, practical experimentation and a constant on-site questioning of the individual – of the child as well as of the psychiatrist – in society.
