Based on the observation of single-sex collectives and interviews with their participants, this article shows that the gender problematics produced by these commitments operate as a supportive form of political socialization. Not only do critical patterns of gender analysis intertwine closely with familial, marital, and professional forms of socialization, but individuals’ relationship to their minority status as women also shapes their vision (whether conflicted or not) of the agricultural profession and its trade union fault lines.Cet article interroge les effets de la conscience de genre sur les modes de politisation professionnelle des agricultrices. À partir de l’observation de collectifs non mixtes et d’entretiens réalisés avec leurs participantes, il montre que la conflictualisation du genre, produite par ces engagements, opère comme socialisation politique de renforcement. Non seulement les schèmes critiques d’appréhension du genre s’imbriquent étroitement avec les socialisations familiales, conjugales et professionnelles, mais le rapport à sa condition minorisée en tant que femme façonne également sa vision (conflictualisée ou non) du métier et de ses clivages syndicaux.Cairn restricted access |
