Opis
Sažetak:How can we articulate two apparently antagonistic types of transmission in the context of a prestigious higher education establishment: the transmission of knowledge hypercathected by a student population whose difficulties are linked to always placing success and performance at the forefront, and an analytical type of transmission by psychoanalysts, which we are trying to define, within the school’s psychological service? Based on our observations of the psychic functioning of the students we met, we have identified three main areas: the development of a false-self associated with an excessive ego ideal, submission to constraining and alienating imago figures, and difficulty in making use of the passivity and regressivity required to access the drive roots of subjectivation. Faced with the problems that emerge in this population, we attempt to describe how the specific framework of psychoanalytical consultations as proposed in this school can prove particularly appropriate and fruitful.
