| Résumé: | Intergenerational transmission from parent to newborn is often at the heart of the difficulties that arise between the baby and its parents, especially the mother who is responsible for primary care. Its effects on the child’s development may require support from a psychoanalyst and specialized consultations. This article presents two clinical situations involving early eating disorders and their impact on the maternal psyche whose function of nurturing is always a vector of anxiety and even depression, even in the most ordinary situations. The therapeutic work carried out with these dyads requires the psychoanalyst to be able to observe the interactions as well as to empathize with, and put into words, the psychological pain felt and expressed physically by the baby. |
