Without undermining the importance of the work of mourning that is inevitably evoked in such a case, the author invites us to consider a different approach inspired by his reading of Freud’s letters to Fliess of the 3rd and 15th of October 1897. On the basis of a number of clinical considerations, he invites us to consider this event in greater detail. En relación con la muerte del hermano menor... Julius Qué importancia debemos dar a la muerte del “ bebé menor » para el funcionamiento mental del « bebé mayor ” que se hizo adulto ? Sin negar la importancia del trabajo de duelo a menudo solicitado ; el autor plantea discutir bajo un enfoque diferente que tiene su origen en la lectura de las cartas de Freud a Fliess fechadas entre el 3 y el 15 de octubre de 1897. Se analiza a través de algunos breves apuntes clínicos la apreciación matizada de dicha coyuntura. Zum Tode eines jüngeren Geschwisters... geheisst Julius Welche Bedeutung soll man dem Tod eines “ jüngeren Baby-Geschwisters » für das geistige Funktionieren eines erwachsen gewordenen « älteren Baby-Bruders » zuschreiben ? Der Autor stellt, ohne dabei die häufig beschriebene Bedeutung der Trauerarbeit aus den Augen zu verlieren, eine andere Herangehensweise an das Thema zur Diskussion, und zwar ausgehend von der Lektüre der Briefe Freuds an Fliess vom 3. und 15. Oktober 1897. Zur Diskussion gestellt wird anhand einiger kurzer klinischer Bemerkungen eine nuancierte Einschätzung einer solchen spezifischen Lage. Sulla morte di un fratello minore... Giulio Che importanza assume la morte di un fratellino minore in fasce, nel funzionamento mentale del suo fratellino maggiore divenuto adulto ? Pur senza trascurare l’importanza del lavoro di lutto, spesso trattato, l’autore propone alla discussione un approccio diverso, che ha origine nella lettura delle lettere di Freud a Fliess del 3 e del 15 ottobre 1897.
