| Résumé: | On the death of a younger child... called Julius
What importance should be accorded to the death of a “
younger baby » in relation to the mental functioning of an « older
baby », once the latter has reached adulthood ? Without undermining the
importance of the work of mourning that is inevitably evoked in such a case, the
author invites us to consider a different approach inspired by his reading of
Freud’s letters to Fliess of the 3rd and 15th of October 1897. On the basis of
a number of clinical considerations, he invites us to consider this event in
greater detail. |
