| Résumé: | This article traces the fruitful encounters between psychoanalysts from the Paris Psychoanalytical Society in the aftermath of the Second World War, particularly those that led to the founding of the Paris School of Psychosomatics. It describes the institutional connections, theoretical affinities and bonds of friendship, but also the differences, dissensions and biases. The discussion of published articles and reports, accompanied by discussions and comments among colleagues, aims to reconstruct the inter-analytic dynamic. It addresses issues such as the role of motor function, the functional value of the instinctual representatives of affect and representation, and the place of the death instinct, through the work of psychosomaticians and non-psychosomaticians. The article proposes the idea of a common weaving of a psychosomatic perspective deeply rooted in psychoanalysis, unfolding over time to the present day. |
