Description
Résumé:Pierre Marty’s psychosomatic theory has its origins in Freudian psychoanalysis, which it integrates into an evolutionary framework. The somatic symptoms observed by Freud in the context of current neuroses, as well as somatic illnesses arising as a result of a continuous process of drive disentanglement, find their counterpart in Marty’s theory of somatisation processes, which distinguishes between functional symptoms resulting from a process of regression and somatic illnesses resulting from a process of progressive disorganisation.
