| Sumari: | This work deals with the psychic disorganization described and narrated in Maupassant’s la Lettre d’un fou and Le Horla. How can we think about this psychic disorganization, written and romanticized in this way, within the framework of these three narratives? What does it have to say about the creative work behind it? Can this unravelling be understood as part of a process of psychic regredience, countering the risk of psychosomatic disorganization and giving rise to a process of figurability? Having addressed these various aspects, we conclude this reflection by opening on Fritz Zorn’s novel Mars, which is, for its part, the story of a struggle for narcissistic survival, a possible manifestation of the work of death, which will appear following psychosomatic disorganization. |
