Description
Résumé:The author addresses the question of the inadequacy of the regression process, during dementalisation processes or in traumatic situations, transforming into or giving access to a process of disorganization. Based on a clinical vignette, in which somatisation appeared following a traumatic event (loss of a child) that was followed by an essential depression, the therapy and the reflections on the patient’s psychic organization examine the role of perverse defences, whether in their regressive qualities of psychic survival or as an attempt at reorganization. In the latter case, they, with their force of denial, constitute a libidinal source, capable of providing psychosexuality, in a context of objectalisation gradually regaining its qualities of investment.
