| Riassunto: | Disorganization is a concept that belongs to the theorisation of the Paris Psychosomatic School. It represents one of the two major movements of psychosomatic pathology and is underpinned by the activity of the death drive and its regressive properties tending towards an increase in entropy. It represents an opposite movement to organization, which is underpinned by the life drives. From this point of view, the concept of disorganization can be understood, on the basis of Freudian metapsychology, as arising from a process of drive unbinding, with precedence given to the deconstructive action of the death drive. From a psychosomatic point of view, disorganization is opposed to systems of fixation-regression. |
