Περίληψη:Through a close-reading analysis, the author of this article defends the following thesis: The incompletion of Scott Fitzgerald’s The Last Tycoon is a key element in understanding the multiplicity of genres that the novel draws from, as well as the narrator’s conundrum regarding which type of narrative she should use. The article also sheds light on fragmentation and the role it plays in structuring the novel. Finally, this analysis is reinforced by several comparisons made with other novels and short stories by Fitzgerald.
