Analysis of the women’s experiences shows that access to accommodation or housing is not enough to make them feel sheltered. If access to a private space is fundamental, they must not be enclosed or confined to it. This shows how important it is for women that their homes allow them to move between private and public spaces, so that they feel sheltered and safe.S’appuyant sur une recherche doctorale auprès de femmes sans-abri en migration, cet article réinterroge la définition du sans-abrisme en menant une réflexion autour de la notion d’abri soucieuse des enjeux de genre. Cairn free access |
