Περίληψη:This article is based on the operational survey ’Trans people and PrEP’, which took a community-based approach to research. It begins by documenting the journeys and lived realities of HIV-negative migrant trans women sex workers (SWs) during the Covid-19 health crisis, and the obstacles they face in accessing pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) - an HIV prevention treatment - and care. Secondly, it documents the community knowledge mobilised in the health mediation of two associations to help this group take up PrEP. The article is based on the descriptive interpretation of interviews with migrant trans women SWs taking PrEP (n=8) and representatives of associations (n=9). The accumulation of mobility induced by structural factors hinders access to care for migrant trans women SWs. Living conditions in this community deteriorated even further during the pandemic. The community profiles and experiential knowledge mobilised in health mediation enable the development of strategies for outreach and retention of appropriate care.
