With the possible US withdrawal from the region, we will need to continue to adapt.Depuis 2014, l’opération Chammal incarne l’engagement français dans la durée contre le terrorisme et l’armée de l’Air et de l’Espace y joue un rôle essentiel. Centrée sur le Levant, elle y combine frappes aériennes, appui aux forces locales et coopération internationale. Contribuant à la stabilité régionale, elle garantit aussi un accès à des points d’appui primordiaux pour l’influence stratégique de la France et sa liberté d’action dans la région.
