Sumari:Today's socio-economic pressures mean that universities are increasingly called upon to respond to the needs of society. However, the ways in which the traditional university can be transformed into an entrepreneurial university, particularly in a less developed country, remain under-explored. The aim of this article is to examine the perceived entrepreneurial orientation of a university context in search of transformation. To achieve this, we conducted an exploratory qualitative study with a sample of 28 key informants to assess their perceptions and identify strategic choices for the organisation's evolution. The results show that the participants have a positive perception of entrepreneurship and the effects it can have on the transformation of the university. On the other hand, certain dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation in the university context were deemed more relevant by the study (innovation, autonomy, competitiveness and proactivity). However, the risk-taking dimension seems to be less relevant in implementing this change.
