| Sumari: | The aim of this study is to examine the effect of the perception of the attractiveness of territories on sustainable local development. A mixed methodology, based on a hypothetico-deductive approach, involving 12 interviews and a survey of 201 stakeholders, was employed. Results from Structural Equations Model reveal that the political and economic dimensions of the territorial attractiveness of the city of Kara exert an influence on its sustainable local development. The study highlights the importance of raising awareness and mobilizing local stakeholders for a better implementation of attractiveness and sustainable development policies. |
