| Shrnutí: | While analysis of the management of the Covid-19 pandemic in France has focused primarily on the national level, this article looks at the mediating role played by local actors. Regional Health Agencies, Prefectures, Primary Care Organizations, medico-social establishments or even local authorities and public health associations… All these actors actively contributed to the pandemic management, by "remedying" the State’s shortcomings or lacks during the pandemic first moments, then by "mediating" the decisions taken at national level to adapt them to the specificities of populations and territories. We conclude with a plea for national lessons to be drawn from these local experiences, by rethinking the ways in which national and local public health policies are articulated. |
