| Crynodeb: | Innovation in healthcare relies not only on technological developments, but also on social innovations that transform society. Social innovation is based on the emergence of new actors, roles, and connections among entrepreneurial initiatives. Our research analyzes the dynamics between these actors by investigating the driving forces behind the development of social innovation in healthcare, both within and beyond hospitals. We also analyze the roles and the impact of new actors known as Open Labs. Finally, we characterize social entrepreneurs in healthcare in order to better understand healthcare innovation dynamics.
