Résumé:By presenting as a philosophical matter both the style and the way African philosopher elaborate their texts, the Cameroonian J. G. Bidima innovates. However, style is a matter of individuals so the way he speaks on the general level about the style of African philosophers is questionable. Have all African philosophers actually got an illusionist style ? Perhaps it is necessary to temperate Bidima’s assertion in Philosophie négro-africaine, Paris, PUF, Que sais-je ?. This is what we are aiming at in the following short essay on La crise du Muntu by Fabien Eboussi.
