Summary:This article investigates the reasons why people of Ivorian nationality left their country and the complex conditions under which they returned to Ivory Coast and the forms of support to their resettlement after international migration. There are many reasons why the case of Ivory Coast, and more specifically of these migrants, is particularly relevant. Ivory Coast is at once a country of immigration, emigration, return migration and very significant circulation. The simultaneity and diversity of these migratory movements are due, on the one hand, to the fact that in the African context, Ivory Coast is a relatively wealthy country and offers economic opportunities, refuge and work to people from neighbouring countries (Koné, 2020). On the other hand, economic growth in recent years has not sufficiently improved the lot of the majority of the resident population (Adayé, 2020), some of whom are looking for alternatives to meet their expectations by emigrating to other countries.
