| Streszczenie: | At a time when, in France, leading legal specialists are engaged in a critique of the “excesses” of the rule of law, the article first discusses a number of ambiguities attached to this concept in order to qualify their interventions; it then looks at different jurists’ circles and associations which, while claiming to defend liberties, develop a discourse that is critical of human rights and their unconditional legal protection.
