Sumario:The theological dialogue between the Catholic Church and the Coptic Orthodox Church has gone through several stages. Today, it takes place within the International Joint Commission for Dialogue between the Catholic Church and the Oriental Orthodox Churches. The author, in a doctoral dissertation presented at the Faculty of Theology and Canon Law of the Catholic University of Louvain-La-Neuve, presents the history and content of the dialogue between Catholics and Copts in reference to the archives of Fr. André de Halleux, theologian and eminent member of this dialogue. By specifying the meaning and interest of this dialogue in its two-phase process, he seeks to outline some prospects for the future.
