Description
Résumé:This article is based on a doctoral study that explores the psychic consequences of the trauma resulting from the Turkish invasion of 1974 in Cyprus, on the generation that experienced it and on its descendants (in the Greek Cypriot population). We initially present the theoretical elements upon which we rely as well as the principal studies on trauma and its psychological transmission utilizing the projective methodology. Then, employing the projective methods (Rorschach and tat), we examine, through the presentation of a father/son case study, the effect of trauma on the father and the son, while questioning the transgenerational transmission of trauma through the resonances encountered between each protocol.
