| الملخص: | The aim of this article is to report on an exploratory research carried out by two researchers from different cultures in 2021 in North Togo, on the study of the personality of so-called “clairvoyant” traditional therapists from the Nawda culture. These traditional therapists, diviners-healers, are reputed to be clairvoyant insofar as they interact with invisible spiritual forces, from which they draw their power to heal complaints, whether organic, relational or psychological in origin. The Rorschach projective situation enables us to question the subjective manifestations of this clairvoyance, as well as understand the intrapsychic and interpsychic movements that it implies. But what happens when we offer a projective situation to these traditional therapists? We therefore propose in this article both the presentation of the results on the personality of traditional therapists while engaging upstream in a methodological reflection on the successive adaptations which were necessary to allow the realisation of the projective situation in this particular inter- and trans-cultural context. |
