Résumé:Colombia’s political trajectory, historically characterised by a persistent shift to the right, has undergone a seismic transformation. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, a wave of collective discontent swept the nation. The resulting change marked the advent of a new political paradigm, led by Gustavo Petro. In this article, I undertake an exploration, delving into the historical roots and underlying processes that critically explain Colombia’s recent political turn.
