| Tóm tắt: | The care trajectory of a sick child hospitalized in an oncology ward in Togo, and her death, call for reflection on (1) how a child manages to make her complaint heard by her social group and caregivers, (2) the quality of interactions between the sick child and healthcare professionals, (3) the need for palliative care, and (4) support for families affected by an announced death. An anthropology that is attentive to what children say, as well as to the suffering of caregivers and families, can play a “go between” role between these actors in these care situations. |
