Descripció
Sumari:This article starts from the observation that, after half a century of mobilizations and uprisings, ecology is at the heart of global political life. However, the institutionalization of ecological concerns, through COPs and other initiatives, is far from sufficient. In the fight for the climate, citizens’ movements, NGOs, associations and collectives are mobilizing, frequently resorting to that particular form of political action known as civil disobedience. This article defines civil disobedience in terms of four features, and then draws some links with the politics of care.
