In this sense, going beyond the iconic paradigm, images themselves become sensitive expressions of the indignation of those who stand up against unjust forms of power. Thus, the images launch themselves into experience as means of expressing the desire for uprisings, as practices of asserting freedom and as gestures of resistance in the face of history. |
