| Sammanfattning: | In a context characterized by successive and intensifying crises, communication between the actors involved in crisis management has become crucial. Discourse in the context of crises has several objectives, such as informing stakeholders, avoiding the circulation of rumors and false information, and establishing legitimacy by ensuring clear and transparent communication. In this article, we examine the discourse of one of the pharmaceutical industry's leaders, based on the press releases it issued during the COVID-19 health crisis. The analysis focuses on the discursive practices and techniques used to structure this discourse, as well as its dynamic dimension and synchronization with the different phases of the crisis. The results show that the discourse highlights the main discursive techniques of crisis communication, such as argumentation, seduction, escalation, and the dynamics of change conveyed by a desire for action. The discourse is also transparent and cautious, given the complex and uncertain nature of the pandemic's evolution. |
