Yhteenveto:Based on a review of the literature on corporate political responsibility in emerging economies and the notion of planetary boundaries - in the dual sense of a social floor and an ecological ceiling - this article analyses the issues and tensions involved in implementing this responsibility, drawing on the empirical fieldwork of a Danone Ecosystem Fund project with ragpickers in Mexico. The article questions and analyses the conditions for implementing political responsibility, which promotes justice between human beings and respect for planetary boundaries. The results are both conceptual - supporting the political responsibility component of the Danone project in Mexico - and managerial - highlighting the tensions faced by stakeholders responsible for projects with a societal contribution.
