| Samenvatting: | The mutual organization is specific in many ways. However, it is plagued by a phenomenon of trivialization which tends to erase its specificities compared to non-mutualist companies. This article focuses on the thorny issue of mutualist management, still poorly defined in the literature. The mutualist organization, which historically has been built on very strong humanist and relational values and principles, must bring about an appropriate management method if it does not want to sink into institutional isomorphism and relational peril. The results of an empirical study within a French mutualist group illustrate how the mutualist organization can rely on new practices to develop in its managers relational postures which can be considered as the pillars of mutualist management redesigned with the possible light of social audit. |
