| Περίληψη: | Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror anthology is an inverted utopia that presents new technologies brought to market by organizations to solve societal problems and improve people’s dayly lives. The series Severance by Dan Erickson is a dystopia that describes the lives of employees of Lumon Industries who have undergone dissociation using a chip implanted in their brains to separate their personal and professional lives. We will be looking at how organizations are represented in these series: are they at the service of people or at the service of financiers? Are the innovations created by these organizations imagined as serving users by improving the quality of their life, or as promoting corporate growth by increasing profits? We will show how they enable viewers to engage in a reflective, self-reflective and proactive process. JEL Codes: L1, O30, O,31 |
