Summary:While parkour was a relatively popular discipline in the Occupied Palestinian Territories in the 2010s, it is now gradually fading. Traceurs in Palestine are facing the increasing militarization of public spaces by Israeli authorities, which is reducing the number of parkour spots and threatening the practice. However, traceurs continue to train, adapting to the constraints imposed by the colonial situation, even if this means transforming the nature of their practice. This article looks at the evolution of the parkour scene in Palestine, analyzing the strategies developed by traceurs to persevere despite the obstacles.
