| الملخص: | The role of the family in the area of Christian formation should not simply be insisted upon and defended; it should also be reflected upon in terms of the present context, and thought about within the framework of a complex system of relations that affects the act of transmission today, as well as in light of the contribution made by the various actors involved. Above all, it is important to reflect on the conditions necessary for fulfilling this essential role, and the responsibility of the Church to support families rather than simply to take as the starting point the responsibility or the rights of parents or of the family. A more modest and less ideological approach to the question is clearly necessary if we want to move beyond the reproaches that are commonly heard nowadays. |
