| Shrnutí: | Based on a field survey conducted between November 2017 and September 2020 on the construction of the public problem of paternity leave, this article explores the “backstage” of the mobilizations of two feminist associations and collectives committed to extending paternity leave (the PA.F and Parents & Féministes). We examine the interplay between the formation of these collectives and the formulation of their arguments in favor of longer paternity leave. By shedding light on the tensions that play out between the “backstage” mobilizations and the public texts, we reveal the complexity of the activist “we” that emerges on the public stage: A “we” that is at once experiential, investigative, affective, and political. |
