| Résumé: | Compared to previous texts, specially the « Lettres persanes- Persian Letters » we consider how Montesquieu in « The Spirit of Laws » reworks the concept of Equity. At the first regard, this term seems to have only a secondary place in the writings of Montesquieu. But walking along the chain of truths whose equity receives its components in the Spirit of Laws, we reveal one of the principles governing the composition of the work. |
