| Özet: | The aim of the article is to study the transformation of the social recruitment of private colleges under contract. Over the period 2017-2022, the gentrification of these private colleges is significant and concomitant with a reduction in their inter- and intrainstitutional social mix. The gentrification of private colleges, which has been observable since the early 2000s, helps explain the average academic performance of French students in PISA assessments and the high inequality of success rates according to social origin. |
