Summary:With Jean-François Lyotard, the postmodern discourse turns Marxism into a teleological essentialism, projecting in the future the harmonious reconciliation of man with nature. However, a closer reading of the 1844 Manuscripts and the Grundrisse reveals a more complex picture of the dynamic relationship between human beings and nature under two forms: subjective and objective.
