| Özet: | Language practices in Morocco which are related to linguistic contact have recently extended to the field of literature. The rise of a Francophone literature in this area has been observed. This paper intends to examine the influence of Arabic upon French in the Moroccan Francophone novel, focusing on loan-words on the one hand, and on linguistic and cultural interferences on the other hand. But first, the special status of French in this country, regarding the novel in general, is briefly presented. |
