| Sammanfattning: | The present article approaches the issue of standard in Internet communication and in particular the case of political memes. It aims at explaining this phenomenon through an analysis of a corpus of memes published on websites and Facebook fanpages during the Polish presidential and legislative elections of 2015. The political parties used the social media in order to target the young voters who were thus able to interact and express themselves freely. The types of memes and their messages are analysed with a view to identifying possible standards.
