An interesting approach is to examine, by the means of inquiry and documentation, the synthematical creations common to various languages of the continent. Actually, stereotypes and archetypes built on the mythical city appear to be highly persistent through ages as well as wide-spread. Besides, they reveal a very dynamic humorous and poetical counterpart. |
