Riassunto:Our aim is to show how the comprehension of differentiated sociability of migrants, as individuals or groups, allows us to account for both the diversity of linguistic evolution and the dynamic of repertories that can be observed when migrants’ languages are in contact with French. After underlining significant variation in practices and current changes in the different migrants’ languages, we will outline some specific features that stand out on studies in Polish, Portuguese and dialectal Arabic. These features will then be analysed with regard to the way migrants experience space and social or geographical mobility.
