| Résumé: | This paper is a report on the conference organised by the Génération.s deputy for Val-de-Marne, Sophie Taillé-Polian, on the question: “What responses to the ‘theory’ of the Great Replacement” (10 November 2023). As one of the speakers, I would first like to look back at this event in order to salute its initiative in a context where anti-racist discourse is tending to become invisible or discredited. In complementary fashion, I propose to question the place given to scientific discourse in this collective reflection. More broadly, this experience will help us to approach the important question of the dialectic between social science research and political action. |
