| الملخص: | The starting point of this paper is the assumption that stereotypical word combinations are not the product of mere accident, but rather reflect the deep semantic or cognitive structures of a word’s content. It is the role of semanticists to bring out the conceptualization inherent to the meaning of a lexical unit which leads native speakers to imagine its referent in a particular way. The distinctive behavioural profile of a word, established through lexicometric tools, allows describing and distinguishing near synonyms thanks to a fine-grained lexical and semantic analysis. |
