| Résumé: | This research examines the influence of code-switching (CS) and cultural concepts on the recall and expression of emotions in Chinese-French migrants. Thirteen participants took part in the interviews. The results indicate that shame is recalled more quickly in French, and that CS to the native language intensifies emotional expression. Additionally, a positive attitude towards French culture appears to encourage the expression of emotions in French. |
