| 要約: | This contribution focuses on the feminist commitment of Déwé Gorodé and pays tribute to her exceptional courage and tenacity. To contextualize her commitment, it first develops the singularity of her pioneering trajectory which makes her the very type of an “outsider within” (Hill Collins, 1986). After having described how in her youth, faced with the competitive bidding between anti-colonial and feminist struggles, she positioned herself against the grain in the nationalist movement, asserting her feminism in both her political and literary texts, the article then focuses on her time within the government of New Caledonia as responsible for women’s issues (2004-2017), and on the battle she led for Kanak women’s access to the customary Senate. It ends by showing that her novels published between 2005 and 2012, demonstrate her radical feminist thinking even though her discourse within the institution was more constrained. |
